When we weren't in no-fishing zones, we took the fishing rods out and tried our best to get an outstandingly fresh meal on board. We were successful in catching tuna, dorado, bonito and sierra.
However, in certain areas most of the catch was seagrass or kelp. Apart from that, the fishing was not only characterised by successes. Lost fishing hooks and torn fishing lines were part of
everyday life. All the more reason for us to appreciate a grilled fish steak or eaten raw in form of freshly prepared ceviche (spring onions, cucumber, tomatoes, coriander, mango, ...) or sashimi
(with wasabi and soy sauce).
