Playa Armenta is located just round about one mile south of Isla Requesón, can be reached by Mexican Highway 1 and is a small beach where you may find tranquillity apart from the engine brakes of passing trucks. Furthermore you can search for clams in the cove. We found just a few and threw them back into the sea after observing them.
On the south end of the beach a large reef extends which is home to shiny fish and different kinds of water plants. In comparison to the Gulf of California, the water in Concepcion Bay felt a few degrees warmer on our visit in June and was therefore even more pleasant to go snorkelling.
