San José del Cabo is the second largest city on the East Cape of Baja California Sur and a very traditional fishing town. Even though tourism is its mayor source of income today the old cityscape and vibe has remained. I can actually just speak about the marina of San José del Cabo (Puerto Los Cabos) as I stayed most of the time within or around it during our short visit. Our main reason for staying in the small harbour for two nights was to get some minor repairments on the boat done and make it fit for the bash around the cape and up north in the Pacific.
